Correct. He needs to throw guys open and trust his guys to make plays. Stop waiting to see someone WIDE open before he throws the ball. He’s been good so far but there are a lot of plays to be had. He’s not seeing it and trusting what’s there. Let it go young man. Let it rip.

And even then he throws behind them or to the outside when the receiver is already on the sideline.

These WR's are making him look better than he is.

This. Good news this is something that can improve with coaching and confidence in/familiarity with the system.

Almost wonder if his last year at Arizona state made him gun shy. Doesn’t want to throw someone open and make a mistake potentiall.

It’s not that he always waits for someone to be open bc he’s made plenty of tight throws. This talking point has to end, does he hold it too long right now? Sure but it’s not like he’s Jordan Jefferson level. He’ll be okay and he’s clearly our best qb option. Luckily if he does get hurt from running so much Nuss can come in and run the offense but Nuss will have to stop forcing too much. Like Kelly said, Nuss is trying too hard to make the most of his playing time but if he had to focus on starting and playing with this defense he doesn’t have to be so wreckless. Either way we should be good, I’m still salty about losing to FSU. We would be top 15 if not for that missed extra point.
