The way the defense has played against UF and UGA, this Bama team looks like they will easily put up 40 or more points on us. As much as I want to drill Saban into the ground when he come to Tiger Stadium, it seems like that won't happen. Hell, the might drill us into the ground with these piss poor Co-DC's calling the shots.

I wouldn't put money on the Tigers, but they certainly have a decent shot at knocking off Bama. However, it won't happen if they are -3 in the turnover category.

it's gonna be tough, but i think FL is better and bama and they haven't been handed their loss yet. They are due.

lsu is still more talented. I think they match up well. Wilson is no tebow or stafford. If lsu can stop the run they got a good shot. Saban is gonna come after the quaterbacks though.

I believe the Bama game will be another UF/UGA type game. No defense and lots of scoring, mostly by the other team. We will lose to Bama.

I look for the Bama game to go very similar to the Bama/Tenn game. LSU will be down 7-10 points at halftime and Bama will just gradually take over the game. Saban will blitz Lee/Hatch/Jefferson or whoever else wants to get sacked on every 3rd down. The qbs will combine for 3-4 int. and LSU loses by 24-27. Just my .02

Wilson is having a pretty damn good year. The fact that thier running game is very good only helps him and I expect bama's oline to be way too much for our D line to handle. A solid run game for bama and some blown coverage TDs for Wilson= likely bama win.

Just look at what Bama did to UGA when they played their big game of the season so far. They basically blew them out in the first half. Yeah, they have struggled against inferior teams, but when they had to step up this year against big time teams, they answered the bell. It just seem like to me with our overall problems (offense and defense) this one will be a scary one to watch.

If we can

(1) Stop the Bama run game
(2) Put the game on JPW and force mistakes
(3) Not turn over the ball

I think we can do (1) and (3). But (2) is what worries me.

JPW with time to throw can shred our secondary though less than what Stafford was able to do.

I def. won't drink the kool aide. LSU will lose this game. I don't feel that there is anyway, based on their performance, that LSU has a chance to win.

I think the atmosphere will be right for LSU to play a highly emotional and smash mouth game against BAMA. If they can keep from turning over the ball so many times they may have a shot. Give it back to them like they did with Georgia and the Tide Rolls. It sure would be great if LSU can spoil that perfect season for BAMA i hate those MFR's.

LSU has not played up to potential in any one game so far.

Judging by the law of averages, we are due a good game with a few breaks our way.

Saban will put our Qb's in bad situations. I don't see LSU coming close in this game.

BAMA: 38
LSU: 16

We can and will beat Alabama.

Eliminate bad mistakes and create a few for the Tide.

Won't it be sweet to ruin their national championship dreams?

And then at the end of the season, after we have reeled off 5 straight wins, and Alabama has lost 2 of their last 5 (against us and against Florida) the Rose Bowl picks #8 ranked LSU over #10 ranked Alabama.

To play USC.

LSU will get rolled. Bama reminds me of LSU a couple years ago. Their defense is sick. We will not be putting up 38 points this game, and I have little faith in our defense.
I just hope it's close.

I see JPW as Stafford was this passed weekend. A senior who has matured and become a top flite SEC QB agaginst immature freshmen. Thier defense looks like the LSU defenses when Saban was here. They don't beat themselves and force the QB to make good decisions. Besides our D can't catch a cold right now. I just don't see it the way Bama is playing with such confidence and we look so diorganized on defense.

At this point...beating Bama would be just as good as winning a bowl game for me....I say this is our bowl game actually...odds are the team we play in the post season won't be ranked any higher then this...

Do you guys remember who their coach is!?!? This is Nick Saban..you know, the guy who got LSU their 2nd NT in 2003. He's no dope and he's not to be underestimated. I believe they have a more solid squad than we have right now and I feel they can mop the floor with us.

BUT, I also believe that they have a chance to be the upset team to pull Alabama out of their race for the title. I think the only problem is that the game isn't a night game. Maybe they can get some confidence built up by beating Tulane next weekend..or maybe they'll loose!?!?
