I joined the military and worked on Capitol Hill and in the pentagon. Met wife in DC, life was shaped as a result of decisions I made after 9/11.

21 years later, no one cares. I had family impacted, visited museum last summer.

Still, I don’t really care, might not put up my flag. The Commies are in charge and government is hopelessly corrupt. I’m sad I feel this way.

Don’t act like a quitter. Gotta have some faith there are enough good people left (there are).

I’d feel the same way in September if my alma mater didn’t have a football team.

Our country sucks and I plan to be pissing when I'm at a game and the anthem is being played.

I was in a recruiting office the day after 9/11. Couple of left turns and I didn't end up joining. I did join when Iraq kicked off which of course was a result of 9/11. Spent some time on active duty, all of it abroad and finally got to see the elephant during the Surge. Eventually ended up working a block from World Trade.

Met my wife also as a result of choices made during that time. Like you, I'm thoroughly disgusted by what the place has turned into---I truly hate some 'Americans' worse than any foreigner.

What a pathetic fricking post this is. It was just yesterday that you said I embarrass you to be MAGA.

You wanna know the difference between me and you, you fricking pussy? I have a similar history to the OP. Was serving active duty on 9-11. And yeah, I'm pissed about the way things are going, but I will never turn my back on my country. Not ever. 100% patriot to the bone. And this post here is proof that you are a goddamn coward.

Bookmarked. frickin loser.

You are a fricking embarrassment. "MAGA" my arse, you fricking poser.

I’ll never forget the tragic events of this day or all the feelings that I felt. It was like a bad dream. Feelings of sadness, anger, helplessness, and etc. It was the first time I truly experienced patriotism and understood what it meant. It was then I realized and saw the unity of our country’s finest and citizens came together as one. Ole Glory seemed to wave stronger. The colors of the Red, White, and Blue seemed brighter. Politics took a step backwards. There was no Democrats or Republicans that day. Everyone belonged to the same party….the party of the USA!!

The country and government didn’t do anything wrong. Those things are victims of crooks, scoundrels and deviants just like the rest of us are. The country can be a point of pride again, as much as it ever was, once those miscreants are neutralized in whatever form or fashion that may be. Old age or otherwise. There’s a certain generation or perhaps generation and a quarter that should all be getting dementia as a result of their terrible deeds, maybe all around the same time. Your Clintons, Pelosis, Schumers, Biden is already there, Obamas not long after, etc. What will remain of the left will ne a manageable group of nincompoops who can’t even tie their shoelaces. The pendulum will swing back and it will be up to good folks to seize upon the shift.

I’m afraid the education system and media are developing more and more miscreants and commies.

Don’t feel bad. For the first time I am ashamed that I served in the. Military and fought in a war. Im embarrassed that I thought this nation was worth fighting for.

Yeah, I know who I won't be depending on if something like a civil war or a war against China ever kicks off.

What a moral coward you are.

After a couple of decades, I'm definitely over it, with the exception of the laws that were passed during that period that made travel so much more difficult.

History is full of examples of remnants of nations that collapsed when they kicked God out. Or never had Him to begin with. Those structures in ancient Rome, must have been grand. They say the Coliseum in Rome is impressive.

I remember watching the Twin Towers collapse and thinking - the wrath of God is something to behold.

Nations kick God out. The vacuum created by this action is filled by Wormwood.

I remember a wise old priest telling us when you encounter Satan - RUN. Get away from that place. He told us you don't know what you're dealing with or the danger you face. GET AWAY NOW!

America has reached the point where she is slicing and dicing her youth. Believe they call it gender transition surgery. Sickening actually.

America dances with Satan. Please stop.

Half of America is committed to its destruction. I think it may be over, but hey we had our day. May we forever be remembered like the great Romans still are.

My local area is worth fighting for, nothing else.

Certainly not on foreign soil. The legacy of 911 is the crackdown on law abiding American citizens.

So delightfully refreshing that the rest of the free world respects us more than we respect ourselves.

This is being done on purpose. THEY are trying to dictate how you feel.

You will let them, or you'll stand on your own 2 feet.
