I never said anything about racism. More prejudice than anything.

Yeah he would look better in Crimson. Dumb!

How are you so dumb? Show the best player on the roster the door. Makes total sense.
if the best player gives a consistently poor effort, he becomes a negative influence both on the field and in the locker room.

That can't be tolerated. I'd say he'll get another chance, but if he doesn't give full effort (in practice), Kelly may sit him for part or all of a game.

And if it still continues after that, Kelly will have to let him go.

This kind of toxic attitude can't be tolerated.

Did he look anywhere near like the best player on the roster in that game last night to you?

If Boutte continues to play with that attitude he is nowhere near their best player and the guy should be benched. There is no excuse for that lack of effort he gave in that game.

I don’t care about his attitude. Just catch the ball

I'd agree if he was playing hard.

I don't know if he doesn't care...or if he's so caught up in other things that his focus is just gone. But, we're seeing things out of him we've never seen before.

Not catching is one thing. Not getting your head around is another. Having your QB spend a lot of energy keeping you in the game is another.

A lot of folk prefer a black qb to a white one too.

There’s no evidence there for me to say he isn’t playing hard.

Him & Daniels were not on the same page. Boutte was very likely upset with his performance & how the game was going. That’s not behavior indicative of one that does not care

People are mad because he threatened to transfer, and they are projecting.

Aaron Hernandez would like a word. . .oooooh, he can't. Killed (at least) 1 guy. Went to prison. Hanged himself.

I’m not so sure. He has his kids bought into his ways. They go there and fall in with the rest of the teams habits. Same way bellicheck takes “trouble” guys and you usually don’t hear shite about them in NE.
Agiye Hall did not "fall in line", neither did Eli Ricks.

I remember saying that I had no problem with him transferring or sitting out during the summer. I felt like the kid's head wasn't in it. Nabers, Bech, Jenkins, BTJ and Hilton is a great corps. Jenkins is a TD machine in the redzone. If I'm BK I'm telling him to shape up or get TF out. Josh Pate mentioned that something that could mess up our season were lingering past regime guys who can't get with the new program. Boutte was pretty much the only guy I personally thought that would effect, but there might be more.

Boutte will bounce back and have a really positive response after this. There’s too many people who are going to realize what kind of money is at stake if he doesn’t correct it quick. Reality is he’s got 1200yds in 2 years, had a season ending injury and didn’t look sharp at all yesterday. You can’t opt out now with that lasting impression. He’s going to have to ball out before he opts out later in the year once we get eliminated from the conference race.

If by "same page" you mean Boutte catching balls that hit him in the hands, then yea.

Boutte dropped a TD pass early, dropped another later with zero effort given, and dropped another ball that was right on target. If he just catches the damn ball, he'd have had two TD receptions and a lot more yards.

Yes, did you watch? Florida state didn’t give him much.

Are you talking about one play when the safety was sitting on him and boutte didn’t think it was going to come to him?

I’m not condoning how boutte played or handled himself, but that doesn’t mean he’s not on board.

Lot of 40-50 year old men shitting on a kid who can do things that they could never dream of doing is always something I will never understand

1st one was a tough contested catch

2nd one was a timing issue with Daniels

3rd one was a flat out drop. Trying to run before he had possession

Says a lot that Jaray Jenkins is a team captain but your biletnikoff hopeful is not.

Jaray has been here for years working his arse off everyday on and off the field. He’s put in the time and effort to both earn a degree and the respect of his teammates and coaches.

Kind of the opposite of what we know about KB.

I’m sure Brian Kelly has had kids like Boutte before. I have faith he will get through to him, and that Boutte will grow up. I don’t think Brian Kelly will give him many options. We don’t need 300 yards and 4 TD’s per game from Boutte. We need a leader with a good attitude. And he’s still got a chance to make that happen.

He is not acting like AB. Tell me how he’s acting like AB?

I know it’s hard for you guys to understand, because you’ve never played a sport at a highly competitive level, but it’s just a combination of frustration, confusion, and not having experienced players in the game. Everything was rushed and the timing was just off all around for the most part. That doesn’t equate to him acting like AB, or being lazy, and mentally weak.

Why is no one crying about what Ali Gaye did? He lost his composure a whole lot more than Boutte did.
