Question related to “lying to FBI.”

If it is a FEDERAL CRIME to lie to the FBI and since it is not crime because of the US Constitution, then it is a crime by Congressional action.
If this is true, why can’t states pass laws that criminalize lying to a state or local policeman?
There is a difference between lying under oath and generally lying?
YOUR THOUGHTS

Doesn't Alabama have the Bobbie Humfrey law that was passed for lying to police?

this is what I don't get. there should be a new law saying that lying to federal investigators is not a serious crime. feds always build up their cases against you for supposedly "lying". which then they will bring charges of obstruction. more charges will pile up from there till you go bankrupt or kill yourself.

False swearing, false statements, injuring public records, obstruction of justice, or perjury.

Don't talk...plead the 5th. Will that work? We've all known where the FBI stood since Hoover when it comes to politics. Just that after 40 years of Leftist Academia indoctrination, the Institutions of Government that use to defend Constitutional Principles (Rights from God at the fore) now seek to destroy. Along with this Nation's extraordinarily successful economic prosperity.
Spiritual prosperity is altogether another issue. We can't blame Marx for that. I guess "The Fourth Turning" pretty much sums that up.

I think it depends on who is lying and for what purpose.

this is impossible against the FBI. the best you can do is have a lawyer with you during the initial interview. since they have access to all your data, emails, phone records and banking information.
if you don't recall an email you sent to someone that me implicate you in a crime 15 years ago they can get you for lying on that matter. FBI can also charge you for owing taxes on a business you own but don't control the finances of. they build their case slowly, cut by a thousands knives. federal charges pile on, so all the petty crimes add up years. imagine going away for 20 years because you "lied" to the fbi, pirated porn on the internet, forgot about an email from 15 years ago, don't keep track of all your side businesses and some other petty shite.
as the saying goes the federal government can indict a ham sandwich. they are pretty much modeled after the mafia.

Lying should be something people are more concerned about, gravely concerned about !
