Is Oregon v Georgia the least talked about week 1 top 11 matchup of all time?

Is it assumed Georgia is going to roll. No national championship hangover? Georgia loses almost every single game they play in Atlanta.

Georgia is a big favorite this game for a reason

has oregon never not totally folded in a game like this?

i dont have the memory off the dome or the stats behind it, but what is our record in games in atlanta against not alabama? id say it's probably pretty decent.
you also have to remember that playing in atlanta by default means we are playing against an incredibly good team

not necessarily, you play GT there, and they suck

well our record against GT is extremely good, but we are presumably referring to Georgia Dome/Mercedes Benz games, not Bobby Dodd stadium

Bruh Georgia got thumped by Boise State week 1 2011 in Atlanta. It isn’t just the SECCG

Yes. Dome/Benz. No one cares about GT

so your example is that game 11 years ago? we beat UNC in atlanta, we beat auburn in the sec title.
yes, we lose to alabama and the 2 best LSU teams ever. is oregon winning those games?

Yes. They are going against Notre Dame and Ohio State. Notre Dame Michigan and Notre Dame Michigan State would still suck up all the oxygen. The only intrigue to the Oregon game is whether or not they are looking to leave the Pac 10.

Nobody expects it to be competitive

They beat Ohio State in Columbus last year at the start of the year

Oregon won at Ohio State last year without Kayvon Thibodeaux.

Does Oregon have a single fan at the game? This is the least neutral Kick-Off game ever.

Well they are only 60 miles from Athens.
