Harvey, 22, was also found guilty of obstruction of justice and monetary instrument abuse in connection with the fatal shooting of Joseph Vindel, 29.

Vindel left his Uptown home about 10 a.m., telling his girlfriend he would return shortly, according to Zeagler. He had a brief text exchange with his father right after he left the house. After that, Vindel was never heard from again,

Prosecutors accused Harvey of scheming to rob Vindel by paying for the bike with fake movie prop cash. But the transaction took a deadly turn when Harvey shot Vindel multiple times as the Vindel sat inside his vehicle.

A black guy? I’d have never guessed.

At least he was tried in Jefferson Parish and justice was done.

Is this the one where they found his body in a car in the Garden District?
The dude like put the dirt bike in his victim's car, drove the car to the Garden District with his body in it. Then dumped it and drove the dirt bike back to Harvery.

That’s very sad for Joseph and his family.
I wish these people would keep this violence contained to their own communities rather than ruin the lives of those who are contributing members of society

To be fair - the victim went to the guy's community.
"Yo man, I want your bike - drive out here to the hood and I'll buy it."
"No, I'm good. Just meet me in front of the Starbucks around the corner from here."

Hope that POS gets the death penalty.

Meeting in front of the police station is the only answer.

Did Latoya cross parish lines to sit with him in court?

You mean like when black guys go jogging thru a white community in Georgia and two white guys end up killing him?
Posted on 9/3/22 at 7:40 am to BowDownToLSU
White supremacy is the biggest problem we face.

Jogging? Is that what he was doing there?

When selling something of value, do you not ensure your safety to a reasonable degree so this kind of thing doesn't happen

No, but if you CHOOSE to go to the hood, with a thing you're trying to sell for money - it doesn't seem like the biggest leap to think you're going to get robbed of your thing.
The murderer is still a massive POS, who hopefully enjoys prison sex, but the guy fricked up.
I'm not going to the hood, or some rando's house in the country or an empty warehouse to meet some internet rando, to be robbed of my property and/or money and/or whatever else happens once you get to that point.
Meet me in a public place, or GTF on down the road.

again, you think it’s Joseph’s fault this person shot him multiple times, killing him, while he sat in his vehicle?
