Michael Burry sold all investments except GEO.

First off, do your own research before any stock. With that said, GEO supplies high end maximum security prisons and guards along with small and quick, and movable detention centres. the following reasons is why GEO will rise by 25% before the end of the year;
1. HIGH level of crime.
2. Mental health and drug crisis in America.
3. Border Crisis
4. Republicans taking the house in November, and implementing NO BOND for repeat offenders.
5. Prisons are currently at maximum capacity.
6. ALL the looting and disgusting criminal groups sweeping through America are going to be stuck in GEO Group cages by the end of the year.
7. It’s an inflation and recession proof stock.

It's troubling what the Money Talk is turning into.
OP brings a stock to the board to discuss, talks about why he likes it and it's killed with downvotes. Not only that, he gets an OP type response.

Why would one automatically assume this is a political post? He posted a stock trade from a well known financial icon and posted reasons he liked the stock.

Um, where exactly do you get I’m posting a get rich scheme? The stock is down over 25%. It will take a few years to recover, but the time is now to buy. No one is getting rich overnight in the economy.

Burry is likely signaling here more than anything else. He does a lot of things as part of his extreme intelligence combined with autism. Like tweeting and then deleting all the tweets. I wouldn’t be surprised if this was another similar stunt - he closes all his positions and leaves the prison one open as a symbol of America’s impending economic collapse and putting everyone into prisons. I was onboard with him on GME before Cohen even came around, but I’m comfortable missing the boat on a prison stock
TBF I’m a fan of Burry but this one just screams signaling/symbolism to me to make a statement rather than actual investment opportunity. Burry’s tweets and investments make a lot of headlines and he knows it
