And as expected good show. I knew about Pablo Escobar and the stuff he's done, but watching them explain the timeline and all the details of his life and work was cool to see. Dude was a bad arse. Almost done the 1st season and I'm enjoying the hell out of it. Not sure why it took me this long to watch it. Hopefully seasons 2 and 3 are good too.

To the people who've seen this, did yall like it too?

Also, I do find Narcos a good bit better than Narcos Mexico but I like Mexico too.

Still my favorite Netflix show. I definitely prefer the original to the Mexican version.

It is really excellent. So Season 2 will close the chapter on Pablo and is even better than Season 1. The actor playing Pablo did not speak Spanish (he's a Brazilian so he only spoke Portuguese) so he had to learn each line by wrote memory. He did a fantastic job. Season 3 picks up the pieces and moves on to the Cali Cartel now king of the hill and it was the best season of them all. I envy you.

Just binged season 1 and 2. On season 3 now. I've enjoyed it.

You watched Narcos Mexico first?

I plan on starting Mexico once finished up with Narcos. Does it tie into Narcos in any way?

Oh that's good to hear looking forward to it.

Yes.

Couple years ago I was hanging with my brother at his place just getting drunk and he said he was currently binge watching Narcos Mexico so we watched a large majority of that first season in that same night, so I kind of watched the rest of the show after that cuz I liked it and had to finish it off.

A little bit. There are some characters in both shows like Pacho Herrera among others I can't quite remember. Pablo Escobar is in like an episode or two as well.

Love the series. I do prefer Mexico, however (except for the 3rd season, which was horrible).

My favorite tv series, maybe of all time. It was so immersive.

Narcos was amazing television.

I liked Narcos: Mexico okay, but after I finished S1 I never felt compelled to get back into it, so I haven't seen2 or 3.

But Narcos, especially the first two seasons, is excellent (and 3 is good too, just a little down from 1/2).

The most recent season is the only weak one. Might have the worst narrator of all time. The rest are awesome.

Plays a Brazilian elite cop killing drug dealers in Elite Squad and Elite Squad 2. Good movies.

The tension in season three was unreal. Brilliant way to tell that story.

Just finished season 2. Great show! I never realized how big and powerful Pablo was.

Curious, towards the end if Pablo lost all of his money or just didn’t have access to it considering the situation. Also funny he still thought he had power to influence while he looks homeless and barefoot living in a slum.

With a little research, it appears his family is doing well.

Narcos is awesome.

Narcos Mexico is good.

**SPOILER ALERT**

I was surprised how great Narcos S3 was considering it was post-Pablo's death. I expected a decline but it actually improved.

Telling the story from the viewpoint of the head of security for the cartel was brilliant.

Bumping an old thread because I just got through seasons 1&2.

Some brutal shite in this show. I know it's based on real events but, damn the body count is way up there.

It's a little tough having to read the subtitles but, it's a really great show.

I admittedly knew very little about the whole thing. I know it was on the news all the time but, didn't pay much attention to it. shite I thought Medellín was a family name like "The Medellín Cartel" was run by a family.

Escobar came from nothing, got so rich he had rooms full of pallets of cash, then died broke.

Not sure if I want to watch the next season without Pablo. I do wonder what happened to that chick's baby after her "friend" shot her.

Also some really nice racks on display in this show.
