Honestly I’m more nervous about this than the QB battle. Wtf happened to all these P5 transfers that can’t beat out a McNeese guy?

Well, it’s not like the guys he’s beating out suck. The Arkansas guys held up on a strong, well-coached SEC defense and Banks just isn’t healthy yet, so we don’t know where he will fall in the mix if he gets into form during the season. Let it play out.

Only advantage that Florida state has is game Time prep. Let’s face us Practicing against each other is way better than the nobody Florida State plays

Incorrect, I've counted at least 20 threads bitching about FSU having a game this week while LSU doesn't and how bad it hurts LSU

It's not like Ricks or Dwight could win the job where they went either. If the guy can guard Boutte in practice I feel just fine because nobody can do that in a game.

Not really surprising considering wire started last year. They’re basically saying wire at T is better than shorts at G.
No it means they want Bradford at guard. I was shocked when they kept playing him at RT becsuse I thought he was better in the inside last year. He's a big strong presence. Frazier, Dellenger and Campbell were always the 3 givings ever since they started Fall camp.

All I know is that this OL is going to be massive, and these aren't slouchy boys either.

That McNeese guy was a lightweight when he got here and that was after 4 years in college. Kid came here minus 170lb at 6'1 and is now around 190lb according to BK. He's holding his own against our WRs and we know how good our WRs are.

On that same note, Banks and Converse had been nursing injuries, so they aren't 100%.

The issue with Wire is that his knees have been an issue and he isn’t as strong in the run game. Guess it’s a trade-off because Bradford can certainly get beat around the edge with speed guys. Dude definitely gets a big push, so guard would seem to fit him better.

Yeah I’m nervous, but he doesn’t look bad in 1 on 1 drills covering Boutte.

He’s being patient and learning. He’s getting bigger and stronger. No one talks much about him, but that’s okay. He’s a player that wants to play for LSU. He will confuse them with his silence, but will amaze you with his actions.

Well even BK commented that it is definitely an advantage.

I seriously doubt that. Kimo hasn't been mentioned as a guy fightinstart. It'd make a lot more sense to move AB back out and Shorts back to OG

I know this is old news now but why is Nabers being switch to slot? I want Boutte, Nabers, and Bech on the field together as much as possible
