Bullpup shotguns for home defense

So, my home defense arsenal is already pretty good. 3 pistols and AR in strategic locations. I’d like to add a bullpup to the mix. I’ve been looking at the keltec ks7 for a while but also am considering the M&P 12. I like the price point of the keltec better but I never let price dictate a gun purchase especially when it comes to something I want to be reliable. Anyone have any advice or experience with these? Or can recommend another?

If you want a shotgun to have a shotgun then buy a shotgun.
Don't rely on a shotgun for home defense. A pistol or AR is a much better option. If you want a bullpup and it doesn't have to be a shotty then the Tavor and Aug are great options for fun and defense.
Triggers do kind of suck on all bullpups and there isn't a thing you can do about it. I don't mind the heavy triggers but if you like light triggers you might want to try them out first.

M4 is better.

M4 is better.

I thought it was clear from my post that I have 3 pistols and my AR that would take priority over any shotgun.

I think Kel Tec has one with a 25 round capacity.

Just drop a bag and get the Beretta 1301
My dad bought one a month ago. It’s a badass shotgun. It’s on my list in the near future. I wouldn’t mess around with bullpup shotguns for home defense.

Some serious bad advice. Most people don’t go to the range enough to be proficient in a self defense scenario with a pistol or AR. A 12 or 20Ga riot gun is a perfectly acceptable form of defending the home.

If I didn’t know better, I’d say you’re just looking for a reason to buy a shotgun.

EXACTLY, and there is NOT a problem with that at all.

I have the Langdon Tactical 1301 for home defense. It’s a great gun. Lightweight and reliable. Oversized controls. 7+1 with a 6 shell side saddle

A shotgun is not a magical device. It does require training just like any other platform.

Huh? You think a shotgun is easier for a newbie to shoot than an AR15?

A Maverick 88 is all you need for home defense and you can run the f*ck out of it.

Remington 870 12 gage 3". I've had it 30 years and it's an extension of my body. I've killed deer and 100s of ducks with it and it's never let me down. I keep it next to my bed with #6. Come on in.
