I use bags. I never liked lead sleds. I think they are really hard on stocks, scopes, and scope mounts since they don't "give" like your shoulder does.

re: sighting in .... I agree with others. Position rifle in a solid stationary rest, shoot at target, then adjust W/E turrets to chase the bullet hole. Shoot other groups and fine tune as needed. If you know your dope (BC, bullet info., velocity, etc.. ) you can download the Istrelok Pro app and it will provide everything you need to make long range shots. See images below

I grew up shooting benchrest competition and currently have 2 rests: Sinclair competition and a Bald Eagle sling-shot. I use rear bags to support the stock.
