What seems to make the most common sense is that in the case of an immediate past President having his private residence raided, and under the dominion of the Executive Branch headed up by the current President who happens to be the primary political opponent of targeted immediate past President………given those circumstances, we all should already be quite aware of the details that support such an unprecedented and shocking set of actions. That we have to guess and speculate wildly as we are, that’s a very huge problem, again, given the extraordinary circumstances involved.

That anyone actually has to spell that out at all is very problematic. It’s my hope that you’re merely being contrarian and harbor extreme concern for the truly frightening precedent that they’ve set.

I would say such extreme measures invite very different speculations depending on your perspective on Trump.

Do you disagree with that?

If your view of him is that he has acted in good faith to further the greatness of this country, I can see how you would come to the conclusion that this is a corrupt act of an out of control government.

If your view is that Trump has damaged this country by inviting and inciting an insurrection attempt in a selfish act to maintain power (among other instances of unbecoming acts), it isn’t unreasonable to speculate that he would remove sensitive material that would be inappropriate for a former president to possess.

Well...I guess we know who believes trump imitated Jackie Chan in trying to hijack the presidential limo.

I work off the premise of innocent until proven guilty. Whether it be Donald Trump or Hunter Biden. That the law should be equally applied to all.

But it is not.

I don’t know what Trump did in his presidential vehicle.

UPDATE:

Well, it has been an hour and 4 pages of responses and I have not one solid reason why TRUMP is a threat to the US democracy/republic....just as I predicted!

Carry on....

Has he been charged? Is there not an investigative procedure that occurs before innocence or guilt can be proven?

I have no idea if there is truth to the recent reporting that Trump’s lawyers indicated they had turned over all classified documents. If that’s the case yet something between 12 and 24 boxes of classified documents were confiscated in the raid, there’s a problem.

I can tell you through a simple review of physics what he did not do.

Well I think we can agree that he lacks physical attributes that would allow him to personally remove two dozen boxes each carrying up to 2500 sheets of paper.

Editing to add: that Roger Stone bro is pretty stacked though.

Because he isn't allied with the establishment that protects people like Hillary Clinton and Hunter Biden. Make no mistake, Im not fooled that hes some sort of beacon of the values and policies I want.

It was acknowledged that the materials in dispute were at his private residence, that they had already been reviewed and secured.

And then this happened...

Trust me, it is readily apparent you have Trump Derangement Syndrome. It is of no use to appeal to logic.

You are going to get him this time...

US Constitution, Article IV, Section 4

Wow, do you really not understand that we are representative democracy? I mean, I know you like to regurgitate MAGA stuff, and I figured you were joking, but do you really not understand how this works?

Alright. Well I enjoyed the back and forth anyway. I will still wait to see what comes of this. It may be purely political theatre, in which case it’s a really bad play, or there may be more to it, in which case it’ll be bad for Trump.

Weird that you think property damage is the same as an attempted coup which resulted in multiple deaths

How many guns did these radicals bring to their attempted coup?
