Likely because the Braves never had a truly disastrous season. Only 2 seasons of real ranking and didn’t lose more than 95 games in either season. Those 2 seasons were bookended by 72 win teams that were flawed but attempting to compete.

Yeah I would have to look back at the rosters but I don’t the Braves ever experienced the complete gap in organizational talent that the Astros did (which was of course what necessitated what the Astros did in the first place). It wasn’t like the Astros were holding back promising young players from getting at bats in 2011-13 because those players did not exist in the upper levels of the Astros system at the time. Atlanta had Freddie and Simmons during that time as well off the top of my head who were obviously quite good
