I carry a Streamlight Micro in my pocket every day. Its incredibly useful.
I tried a number of different makes and brands, anything larger gets cumbersome in my pocket.
Tried O Light, Fenix, Pelican and another brand or two on similar size lights.
I don't want multiple functions, just turn on the light and it works.

For value man Sofirn lights are great. An sc31 pro in 5000k would be great for that purpose.
Kind of insanely cheap for what it is, there’s coupon codes on the site as well.

Fenix e30r for me. It's made several accidental trips through the washer and dryer and still works 100% fine.

I got a 10 year old, or so, Fenix pd35. Absolutely the best flashlight for the size I've ever owned.
