What excites me about these receivers…

Boutte will be double-teamed/draw more zone attention early in the season because he’s far and away the most accomplished WR on the team. Other teams will think “we’ll force the other WRs to beat us” which means bech, nabers, and jaray will see lots of single coverage. That’s BBQ chicken…

They excite me to if we play a QB who can get them the ball in space and not a run first QB

I knew you’d say that LOL
I mean bud we got these great recievers let's throw it ad much as we did when we had Jor Burrow.
Its the strength of our team.
We got two 5* coming in next year we gonna have to get the ball to.
We need to put a good foot forward.

I mean yeah everyone who goes to practice said Daniels looks better. He was bad in the spring because he’d just gotten there and didn’t know his receivers. Now after a summer of working with his receivers (which Brennan didn’t do very much of but thats neither here nor there) and technique he looks completely different from an accuracy/confidence standpoint. Obviously nuss is right there with him, so yeah the receivers will be maximized for sure. Bayou boys - let’s ride!

My point is they will call more designed runs for him and he is a one read QB.
If his primary isn't open he tucks it and runs it.
But hopefully he starts then people see it for themselves. People won't believe anything until they see it themselves.

I hope we can get them the ball efficiently....

One read QB? Yet another spring talking point…but yeah you’ll believe it when you see it…or maybe not?

If his primary tsrget isn't open he first instinct is to tuck it and use his athletic ability.
What is wrong with that?

He’s hanging in the pocket more now because he trusts his teammates/coaches. It’s amazing what can happen once you have some good coaches around you. Meanwhile, Brennan still second-guesses too much.

I have come to the belief that he is another Jalen Hurts type QB. I am not saying that in a bad way as he won a lot of games but he had some weaknesses. Question is... is he better version of Hurts or lesser version.

This isn't going to get me too many upvotes but I'm just not sold on our wR's. I think we have some great athletes but am not sold that we have great and consistent playmakers that it takes to win big games, with exception to Bech. Even Bouttee had multiple chances last year to turn games around and dropped the pass or just didn't make a play that was there. We shall see but I'm skeptical that they will be able to consistently catch the ball and take over games and dominate with confidence like many of our previous receiver cores have.

Nothing, if he can hit his receivers. If he can't keep the secondary honest, because of inaccuracy, they will just focus on his running.
Maybe opposing teams adapted their defenses, last season, to his tuck and run tendencies, enabling the 10 interceptions.
We will know soon.

MB will have no problem doing exactly that

I expect Malik Nabors and Jack Bech to have big years as long as the qb can distribute the ball. Boutte has solidified he’s a first round talent even if he doesn’t have a big year. Boutte will be doubled but the other states along with Brian Thomas are STUDS so even if Boutte is doubled there should be someone wide open.

I like Bech but WTF sold you on Bech that you haven’t seen from Boutte?
Boutte has single handedly won us multiple games the lay couple of years

He can't. He has started 32 games and has 29 TD passing.
So about 9 TD per year...take out COVID
About 12 TD per year

What you said + Chris Hilton + Brian Thomas. Thomas looks like he has grown into a Live Oak. It'll be fun watching these little Pyongyang Cornerbacks trying to tackle him one on one
