The PSC: Why do we need it in Louisiana?

With the exception of usually Foster Canpbell's vote, the PSC seems to mainly be a rubber stamp of approval to anything ENTERGY requests regarding rate hikes and storm fees.

I love reading Craig Greene's letters. They're always so poorly written for someone with an MD and MBA, but the idiots eat it up.

The LA PSC allowed a sewerage service rate hike in our subdivision to go from $20 a month to $55 month. Foster Cambell will be the last person I vote for when his bid for re-election is up.

Even worse in New Orleans where they are the only city in the country that separately regulates the electric utility. The cost of that regulation is in the tens of millions, is mostly paid to an out of state firm called Legends Consulting, and is passed on to ratepayers. This causes Entergy ratepayers in New Orleans to pay 17 to 23% more per kwh then ratepayers in neighboring parishes. It does keep campaign funds flowing and a lot of jobs for idiot cronies.
