I agree with the GOPe isn't fighting this the right way. Trump understands it though, as he kicked the beehive, and its not just Desantis. Granted Trump was naive going into his original term, but I'm hoping he learned and if we can get him in '24 he is the only one that will be able to actually make any kind of dent in cleaning up DC. Looking at the positives of him "losing" in '20, is that he is planning it all out right now. All that is going on can only show that he is over the target.
We just really need to take the full congress to help make Biden a lame duck for the rest of his term. Why PA and GA baws need to step it up and get Oz and Walker in, no matter how much they need to plug their nose. If Oz and Walker are smart they would base the rest of the campaign on at least being able to slow down the abuse as we figure out where things are going in this country.
Lets not forget, Desantis wouldn't be in the spot he is in if it weren't for Trump. Trump is taking on all the heat as Desantis is allowed to do things with a MAGA legislature. Something Desantis will not have in DC if Trump doesn't buy him some time, before his run for '28.

No one is fighting the right way except for Florida.
Here's the thing, we demonize more moderate Republicans, that NEEDS to stop. The MAGAs and RINOs need to call peace and have a sit down like the mob would. Clear the air. When it comes down to it we have many of the same interests we care about. We may have a problem with their go along to get along approach, but they have a problem with the MAGA burn it all down approach.
A sit down amongst the family is in order. All of our ships must sail in the same direction. The GOPe types have to feel that in the end the MAGA are going to keep their mouths shut when a few have to calculate that moderation in rhetoric is in their best interest. The MAGA types have to feel that in the end THE GOPe types will not cut their balls off over things that they truly care about
Right now we don't convey that sentiment. Also we NEED both sides to agree to jettison some of the idiots and asswipes in our midst. Like Neocons and marginal Republicans like Collins and Romney. As well as on the MAGA side with fringe operators.
We come to a meeting of the minds and then we take apart the Progressive Democrats who are our true enemies. But you have to have that sit down.
