Why wouldn't Taylor come back? It's not like he was dominant last year by any means. Now having to come off TJ.

Because he was dominant in the cape, dominant in the fall and spring. And money talks. Let’s just hope his number is more than the mlb is willing to pay right now

Noot and Taylor both should pitch at some point in the spring. How effective they will be is a question but unless something crazy happens they’ll be healthy enough to pitch.

Kendall just confirmed on twitter that this actually was in fact the case LOL. So Cortez wanted to follow Yeskie to LSU but didn’t realize the date stuff

Still with pitchers coming back in 12 months these days. I would expect Noot to be stretched out and ready for SEC play. He may not be giving you 110 pitches but he should be able to give you something.

I’m not saying he is or isn’t, but the general perception is he is transferring because he was not happy about being moved out of the starter role even though it seemed to be the best move for their team at the time.
I’m sure CJJ would love to add him from a talent standpoint, I just wonder if he would prioritize others slightly higher because of the culture he is trying to grow.

no you are correct but they didn't just jump to surgery. They tried to rehab it and work him back before deciding to shut him down.

It will be interesting who A&M gets as a pitching coach to replace Yeskie. Since Cortez is staying I hope he doesn't figure it out and get better.
