Is Noot going to pitch this year?

Had not heard much about him other than had a minor injury. I have not kept up as much as usual, but there was some talk on this board about him maybe going juco? I am not trying to start rumors, I just read that on here.

I am just curious because he is a highly rated prospect and happy he made it to campus, and excited to see what he can do.

If healthy both Noot and Little will probably get some work in the scrimmages to see where they are at and ramp up from there

Little got some game work in the fall, so he will be ahead of Noot in that regard as long as he didn't sit on his arse during the break. Noot will probably be a little behind, but I seriously doubt he sat on his arse during the break so we'll see.

I expect Jay/Wes to be cautious early since they have so many arms to help navigate the early schedule. The arm I'm most interested in seeing from a health progression standpoint is Hurd.

ETA: My thought is that, if Hurd/Little/Noot are not fully ready, they'll play into the backend convo early on while the rest of the pieces get their looks elsewhere. We may ultimately have a handful of guys that can finish games with wipeout stuff.

Hurd has electric stuff. He’s a Friday night guy we may have on Sunday. Incredible.
