It just means fans like him and they don’t have any objective or concrete reason for it so they go with “it factor” which is make believe.

The following is the "it" factor. It can't be defined, but you know it when you see it.

Nuss’ IT factor is his supreme confidence and self belief, which is infectious and rubs off on his teammates. He’s a leader and I think most people would want the ball in his hands with 2:00 minutes to go in the 4th quarter down 6
Unless we're playing Arkansas in overtime because throwing an interception in the back of the end zone to lose the game definitely isn't the "it factor" or clutch play we're looking for.

because he wears purple and gold. If Myles Brennan was Joe Smith at SomewhereElse Univeristy, not a single person on this board would say he's going to make an NFL roster. Not a single one.

Tbf that could go for just about most players that play outside of LSU.

Except charisma and stage presence are both easily defined.

"Is it factor a real thing"
"Of course"
"What is it?"
"Nobody knows"

uh, no. Those are intangible, just like the "it" factor.

I find it absurd that legitimate sports fans are denying the existence of the "it" factor among certain athletes.

Except he didn't lose the game though. He was the only reason why LSU was even in the game. Indeed, had TDP not fumbled away that bad wildcat snap deep in Arkansas territory, that game never would have gone into over time, had Cade York not missed that routine for him field goal, that game never would have gone into overtime, and has Brian Thomas, Jr caught that perfectly thrown pass at the edge of the end zone after the Arkansas defender had fallen down, that game never would have gone into over time.

Finally, had the defense not given up that last fricking drive, LSU would not have lost that game. Everybody remembers the interception, but forgets that the only reason why LSU was even in that game, in the first damn place, was because of Nuss.

If Myles starts this year, the meltdown from you people is going to be so fricking awesome.

Damn you stop making sense. The madden crowd wants the running qb who can’t hit the side of the barn.

Dude, I really don't care lol...Im perfectly fine with both Nuss or Daniels. Some of you clowns just refuse to see the writing on the wall. They brought Daniels in because that's who they want to win the job. He very well may get beat out by Nuss, but Daniels fits what they want to do on offense. Denbrock has emphasized this shite in literally every sound bite you've heard.

It's not going to happen dude. Brennan already lost his shot at the starting job because all summer long he never showed up with Nuss and Daniels to throw to the receivers.

Lol that’s not a lot of throws in a game. Maybe if it was 1992 you’d have a point

The only problem with Daniels is over half the posters on this forum can pass better than he can.

I'm not even going to argue this stupid point.

Are you saying he will not be on the roster, will not play or there will be no injuries at the position?

You are completely wrong. They didn't bring Daniels in. Daniels contacted Brian Kelly and asked if he could come play for LSU and Brian Kelly says he agreed to let him to increase the competition in the QB room.

Daniels is not going to be the starter because Brian Kelly is not going to risk losing a QB as talented as Nuss is to the transfer portal to start a QB like Daniels when more than half the posters on this forum can pass better than he can. It's not going to happen.

All of that is great. That wasn't what they were talking about though. He was specifically talking about if LSU were down by 6 with 2 minutes left with the game on the line.

last year at ASU, Jayden Daniels completed 66.2% of his passes, which was 27th best in the nation.

Let’s learn something…….see you threw up a stat the goes with what you believe but is SO subjective it’s laughable. Let’s see his yards per attempt. I mean anyone can hit a 5 yard route 60% of the time. Plus that 65.4% actually was against the PAC 12 which was about on par with mid major level last year.

Coaches know if a guy has ‘it’ factor when they see other players gravitate to a qb. They respond and raise their level of play.

It’s a combination of solid play, command on the field and off. It’s walking the walk. It’s confidence and execution
