The third base umpires signaled out. By doing so, he has unduly put the runners in jeopardy

6-0 now, JFC. Whichever team has a worse cold spell before the end of the season probably loses the division

No, but they swept the Yankees and hung a crooked number on Alcantara. That's a sign of a team who is playing pretty well.

That whole "Team X isn't good" is quite literally the same argument you (rightfully) ridiculed people for making when the Braves went on their run.

Braves are atrocious offensively in day games.

1st in MLB in runs scored per game in night games, 19th in day games.

I think there needs to be a balance when talking about strength of schedule. Getting a series win against anyone is good, a sweep even better. Going 25-4 or whatever our record was during the run is really good regardless. But we can also acknowledge that we probably don’t have that type of run had we been playing better teams. Most bad teams have a solid starter and a couple of guys who can burn you, so context matters.

Is that just a weird stat, or is there something to it? Like maybe the batters eye at Truist has a glare during the day, idk.

Also, if the Dbacks were smart they would be shopping Merril Kelly. Dude is good but getting up there in age. He’s not in the rotation of the next competitive DBacks team.

He did. That is the 3B ump's call in that situation and they revert to a 3-man system where U1(plate) gets the lead runner past 3rd and the 2B ump has the runner at 2nd(Riley) and the 1B ump has the runner at 1st(TDA)and the batter-runner.

Max just won the rumored MLB pitchers pool for catching a pop up.

Any rumors floating around on who we may pick up before the deadline? I usually check out https://www.mlbtraderumors.com which is pretty good, but is pretty quiet on any Braves information. I will say AA keeps info from leaking out pretty damn well.

Seems like every game the opposing pitcher makes it to the 7th with like 60 pitches too.

Wonder what the average pitches seen per AB is at night vs day

Who the hell does this Luplow scrub think he is? Batting under the Mendoza line and slamming his bat down screaming frick every time Max gets him out.

When we have bad AB's we REALLY have bad AB's.

This team needs something to happen at the deadline just to get some new blood and reinvigorate things.
