I'm not sure if Graham is suspended or not for his DWI, or Jax for pleading no contest, but I was wondering what you guys thought the rotation will be beyond the starting 5 if he is. I have no idea what our guard rotation will look like, or how Jax and JV minutes will be used at all.

How long will it take Willie to try Trigga from the 5 and go small ball?

Graham 14

No Daniels on my list, but I'm sure it'll be matchup dependent and picking spots to get him 10 minutes here and there in games. I just couldn't fit him in, not sure we'll run an 11 man lineup as part of a normal rotation.

I’d like to see Jonas minutes scaled back to around 27-28 mpg with Nance taking on more minutes at the 5.

Hayes will probably get in the game when both Jonas and Zion are off the court and Nance is on the court playing center.

Graham will most likely be in the rotation early on, Green will probably give him every opportunity to be in the rotation.

Don’t think you’re going to see Murphy at the 5 at all. He’ll be plugged in anywhere from 2-4 as a space and defender.

I think Dyson will probably be brought along slowly and will probably get inconsistent minutes early on until we move Graham and/or Hayes.

You're probably correct, it's just so hard to see where the minutes will come from, mainly because I think early in the season, Graham will get 15-20 minutes a night.

graham avg'd 28 mins in 76 games played last year, but only 15 or so down the stretch. jose's new minutes are coming from there

I think he's still going to get 15mpg or so if not more early in the season, but we also now have CJ starting the season with a full slate of starter minutes.

And even though they don't play the same position, I'm fairly certain Zion has a big impact on that.

Meaning, we probably trotted out lineups sometimes where everyone was slotted down 1 spot, Herb to the 3, BI to the 4 or vice versa, something along those lines.

Now that Zion is firmly in the 4 spot, there's a bit less wiggle room to do that to make more room for CJ/Alvrado/Graham to all get 15+ minutes. It'll be interesting to see how it shakes out.

I just don’t understand how one could feasibly think DG should play more than Jose

I think he will get decent mins, not more than Jose, but some to showcase for an eventual trade.

Lol you don’t show case a bad player by letting him show how bad he is

Daniels will play more than anything I'm seeing on this list. When we go small ball with Zion in the middle, Daniels will get run. He's too good of a defender that doesn't hurt you offensively to leave at the end of the bench.

DG was terrible last year. And yet...he shot 337 C&S 3s at a 39.8% clip. (And 214 3s off the dribble at 25.7%) I suggest there is a way to "showcase" this guy...by only allowing him to shoot "certain" 3-pt shots...and sitting his butt on the bench...if he doesn't shoot 90% of his 3s on C&S.

if I'm the coach I'm not playing worse players so the gm can deal them.

one more Loss the first week that you didn't take if you don't play a bad player.
no days off. there will be injuries and games the other teams 3rd best guy has his career night with 8 of 11 from 3.
or cp3 doesn't miss.

I posted one betting site has pels o/u at 44.5 wins.
that's probably #7 play in and maybe 6th. no room to be doing any less than your best.

Awesome. So he made some shots, on a Tuesday, in the third week of the month, after 8 pm.

What else did he do at any single point in time while on the basketball court? Creating, driving, finishing at the rim, and most importantly, the other 50% of the time on defense.

The only thing putting him on the court does is hurts our basketball team. Nothing more, nothing less.
