Do you feel sorry for bums on the street?

I don't at all. The only way I feel when I get approached for money is annoyed.

I normally fill up on fuel at the Costco by my office, but was very low on gas the other day and had to stop at a local station to put maybe a gallon in. Of course, a bum approached me mumbling mostly incoherently but managed to spit out something about needing $2.50 for gas (yet my car was the only one in the station). I declined and he proceeded to scream at me, calling me a "racist motherfricker." I told him I wouldn't give him my money if he was white either.

I see the same two bums every afternoon on the way home from work at the intersection of Boulevard St. and Freedom Pkwy in Atlanta.

With the current job market, there is no excuse to be on the street. These people could make exponentially more money with half the time spent working a job at Walmart or McDonald's as opposed to begging on the street and playing in traffic.
