Well, you did notice it was a Korean-family owned company, which is interesting in and of itself given the dynamic between those two nations. Also, Japanese population is decreasing, so lack of diversity and a very regimented society isn't helping them as a country at the moment.

So they have fewer people and their economy shrinks a bit. Better than destroying their country.

But Japan is still Japanese. It's a real nation. It's not a giant open air Walmart that many other nations have become.
