You need to come check out Doc Watson’s bluegrass festival in Wilkesboro, NC. The only downer is there’s no booze inside the festival. At the same time it’s a blessing as it stays really clean and tame. The camp grounds are where you can let loose.

I don’t really consider that hill music. I grew up and learned guitar playing with old folks on my grannies porch. Wildwood Flower, Old Joe Clark, old gospel hymns, that is hill music.
