Getting up early destroys staying up late

That's pretty much it.

Why not both?
Let's define what both means.
Staying up until 12 and waking at 6-7. You can maybe get away with it for a minute.
Staying up until 1 and waking up at 5? That's pain.

That's about my normal schedule.

This is close to my wife on the weekends. If she falls asleep at 9, she will likely sleep until 830 if left completely alone.
It's also sometimes me if I just wake up naturally. Maybe not 9 to 9, but 8/9 to 7 would be my normal sleep schedule. Waking up after a solid 10 is amazing.
Some people run around all day like chickens, sleep at 11, wake up at 5 to do it all over again. frick that.

I am so set in my morning wake up times me (5 am) that I hardly wake up past 7 am on weekends. It makes me more productive on weekends.

Don't let your Mondays get in the way of your Sundays baw.

Serious question.
Why not go to sleep a couple hours earlier?

With this new job that just might happen. We'll see.

Once I hit my mid 30s I realized how important sleep is.
Life is amazing on 8 hours or more and absolute shite on 5 hours or less.
I can normally sleep 6 hours and constantly trying to figure out how to sleep more.

Midnight to 6am is my solid schedule.

If you’ll consistently get 7-8 hours of sleep a night, you’ll be amazed how much better you feel and how much more energy you’ll have.

Sometimes I do, or at least lay down to relax by 10. I am almost always working on something past 8 though. It was about 815 when I parked the mower back in the garage last night. I don't recall the last time I even got in bed by 8, why so early?

Like I said above, this is a serious question, not casting judgement. I've wondered this about some people, so I'll ask you.
How do you not feel rundown every day? Is it a getting older thing where you need less sleep? Also, you drink bourbon frequently. When I drink, like I did last night, the next morning I always feel a little bit sluggish, even if it's a single pour.
Also, what is happening between the hours of 9 to midnight that is so captivating for people? There are a few people in my old workplace who went to sleep between 8-10 PM, but most of the crew I worked with was routinely up until 11p-1a.

Not gonna lie, if you're my neighbor and you're outside mowing at 8 PM, you're going to have to deal with me every single time.

Then i had children. Up every day 5AM. I’m out like a light by 9:30PM.

I’ve been up since 4 smoking a brisket.

Depends on what times we are talking about.
During the week, I’m in the gym every morning at 5am and asleep by 10pm and i am slap worn out by Friday night from getting up that early everyday.

I can’t sleep past 7 on my days off anymore. I go to bed around 6-7 on working days because I get up at 3.
