So it was worse than we expected. Losing Rez, Gervase, and the creighton stud hurts. At least we should still have some decent pitching next season.

Worse than expecting? Those were guys we were not really thinking we’re gonna make it back.

We expected to lose those three. We also expected to lose Shores and Noot. We have a chance to get both. Even with just Shores we would be better than expected.

It was exactly as expected and we got more incoming freshman to campus than we thought we would

Gervase was expected to
Stay. Creighton guy was a possibility but likely to go to LSU. Rez was 50/50. Face the facts.

Guess you forgot about the transfer pitchers from UCLA and Vandy on top of a few big time freshmen arms coming to campus.

Good God son the sky isn’t falling.. it’s actually looking a helluva lot better than last year that’s for damn sure

I'm sure you're trolling with that bad of a take.

The MLB draft screws players with no leverage very often. Tebrake and Gervase would've lost their leverage to get a decent deal if they returned.

Rez got drafted in the 5th so as soon as that happened...he gone as he should.

Johnson himself said Gervase and Reyzelman would be gone. Both had one year of eligibility and had leverage. It was expected they’d leave.

Now tell me. Tebrake had committed to LSU. He has never stepped foot on campus.. not before committing.. not after committing. And on an LSU radio show basically said he’d sign for nothing. What led you to believe he’d be on campus?

Those are the facts.

To go along with the “facts” about our Pitching staff. LSU came out of the draft much much better than expected. We never expected to get Shores, Noot, and Bucknam. Along with keeping potential late round picks in Herring, Ackenhausen, Applby, and Moffett.

Honestly convinced most LSU fans starting these threads are either this stupid or choose to ignore the facts. After arguing it for a week it has to be the stupid part.

The pitching staff, particularly, starting pitching will be much better next year. If we land Skenes, we could very well have 3 true weekend guys if Taylor/Coleman/Floyd can solidify that Sunday spot.

Coleman

He won’t be ready till mid season after rehab.

The guy really tearing it up this summer and should get a look is Taylor like you said.

Have to give the nod to Hurd and maybe Little too if they come in as advertised.
