A guy called a week ago and said he was going to repossess my Buick if I don't pay 850 dollars. I don't own a Buick and never have. The call turned out to be for the person who used to have my phone number.

Should have told them “Come get it azzhole. I’ll have guns blazin!”
That way when they go repo it they will have about 10 sheriff’s deputies with them.

There are more than a few people on here in denial. The vast majority of this country lives paycheck to paycheck. They can’t absorb 10% inflation without consequences.

They came to my door and said if I dont pay $500 they will take my car.
I said I don't have that kind of cash on me

You’d think someone with good to great credit could find a way to prevent it. Like going to the bank and getting a loan with higher interest rate but longer term to lower payments and have them pay the car off.

The roads are as packed as ever. Beaches slammed with every condo booked. Malls packed. I think the economy is only affecting me sometimes.

If you have good credit and get repoed, you are either a cheap deadbeat or stupid. Most likely both.
