This is a money board.
Breaking news that JPM & MS missed earnings and that the futures are plunging.
What is weird is that you would think that it's weird for someone to post breaking financial news on a money board.

What's your problem?

I simply shared breaking news regarding the stock market on a money board.

No problem.

I see the Ohio State regulars have already pegged you as an alter on the MSB too. The better question is what’s your problem - who makes multiple alters to post bad news on the Money Talk?

I think you and I might have different definitions of "breaking news".

I've made one post to the money board.
News is news.

Are people only to report news on the market when the market is up?

This is a bizarre meltdown and attack.
I notice that you're the only person going "full psycho" and attacking someone for merely posting breaking financial news on a money board.

seek help.

In the financial world when 2 of the largest financial institutions in the world miss on earnings it's Breaking News.

JPM and MS missing is not surprising to most. In this market I think it was expected. The 2 and 10 inversion is a bigger issue for most. That is classic recession indicator, although I am hesitant to type that because bod312 is going to come tell me there is no way to know we are in a recession yet and talk about how good the market is right now. We are in a recession. JPM and MS numbers are bad, but not as bad as the worst inversion since 2000.

Isn't it funny that pretty much the only time you hear about the irrelevent dow index is when the market is going down because of the clickbait headline. I guess individual investors over 55-60 also think about the market in terms of the price weighted dow index.

S&P500 is the standard but you’re absolutely right, we’re constantly seeing the Dow in the Money Talk random poster headlines

Also OP is a sensitive AF alter. Only posting from an alter bc he knew he’d be shite on, but proceeds to get upset anyway when he gets shite on. OP, it’s a bad look. Either accept you’re gonna get shite on for being negative here, or stop posting. And post from your main account like a big boy instead of hiding behind an alter

There’s been a few other posters like this OP that have gotten shite on for posting negative stuff here for past 6 months or so and been sensitive AF. I don’t remember their names but he’s def one of them

Hmm, I must have struck a nerve with you in our other thread from a few weeks ago. You must really love the chicken little posts we get on down days. I just don't see the point about starting a thread just to claim the market is tanking without any actual substance to the thread.

For the record I have never said the market is good now or can't go lower. I just strongly believe in the historical data that trying to time the market is a losing proposition for the vast majority of people.

Maybe we are, maybe we aren't. I do feel you will be salty if it doesn't get labeled a recession. I am sure if it isn't labeled a recession many folks here will claim that NBER is lying or supporting propaganda or some other claim to discredit their decision. The data definitely seems quite mixed on whether we are in a recession or not. You speak it as if it is definitive that we are currently in a recession. In reality we will have a recession sooner or later but to say we are currently in one right now is definitely not something I would place a significant bet either way.
