score for more BCS points why does he continue not score as much as possible,we had another TD vs SC in the last minutes, but refused to punch.

Dude- he just wants the W.... that's all I want too. We just need to win out, and we'll be fine with a little more class than the USC's and Sooners out there.

Also, asides from the sportsmanship aspect, I think margin of victory is no longer factored into the BCS

Not directly, but you know the pollsters who dont watch games definitely notice the scores Sunday morning.

Margin of victory no longer applies and USC ran the ball nearly every play in the second half. They couldn't help it that Wash. State sucked so bad. Miles has way more class to run up the score.

It pisses me off that after USC got shutout of the BCS 03, that SOS and Quality wins were taken out of the ratio.
So basically we are right back to where we started before the BCS when people voted teams in the NC game.
And no one says shite about this.

What is all this talk about winning out and getting to the NCG? Have you watched the same team I have this year. They were absolutely blown out 2 weeks ago and were getting beat by a middle of the road SEC team. They play one good half of football and people are tlking champion caliber team. Ya'll are retarded.

I feel you buddy. Didn't they also reduce the overall weight of the computers? I'm really not sure.
When you here Corso talk on TV about how USC will get in because of name it really pisses me off and it has nothing to do with USC. It reminds me of how there are forces still in college football that would love to go back to pre-BCS dual champions. That REALLY sucked.
USC getting snubbed gave a little more power to the pollsters and the old shool way of determining a champion.

If we win out, it won't matter what the scores were. It's the SEC and we are the defending Champs. Especially after we redeem ourselves against Fla in the SECCG.

You can read this complaint on basically every message board of every team in MNC contention, fwiw.
Margin of victory means nothing in the final poll (the only one that matters). W-L record and who you played are all that matters.

if its bcs you want then winning the conference is about all you need. that is as long as we win our remaining games. no need to run up the score.
