Looking for new 4K 120Hz TV

Looking at either 55” or 65” for under $1000 preferably. I know $1000 budget limits the options greatly.
Looking to play Xbox, watch sports and movies. I know Prime Day starts tomorrow and may have some good deals, so please give recommendations.
The Hisense U7G is 40% off on Amazon. Is it a decent TV?

It is, but the U8G is better and $949 at BB.

Today and tomorrow are Prime Day, so maybe you can find a good deal. IDK if any will be 120Hz, but maybe?

A couple months ago I got a Samsung Q70A 65" for the living room and been happy with it. It was just under $1k when I got it but now it's about $1100 at Best Buy or Amazon. The 55" would fit within your budget.
However my Xbox Series X looks great on it and supports a 120hz refresh rate along with 4K HDR. The picture quality is fantastic. Sure, it's not an OLED TV but they're priced higher. I'd suggest going to a store that has them on display if you want to check it out yourself.

I just need a TV for streaming movies and tv shows. I've had the same old TV from 2004.

Which is the better buy?
I think at $700 you can't go wrong with either.
RTINGS - TCL
RTINGS - Hisense
They're both so close, panel lottery will be the only difference.
