The city and region are falling behind more and more with each passing year. Never is too strong for a dying city.

The NFL is dying too
Less fans every year, and I don’t see that changing

She’s waiting to sell to the Mannings, where in 2027 they’ll draft Arch.

Rita isn't getting the team because she's a mental case and has never gotten along with Gayle.

But there ain’t a bigger Saints fan than me.

She probably doesn’t. But if you don’t think she’s thought about it when she’s already publicly declared the succession plan, well then god bless. Honestly, this fan base is full of autistic monkeys.
1. Having a succession plan when you have no clear heirs and billions in assets is just prudent. She’s thought about succession but that doesn’t mean she is looking at her time as an owner as the “short term”
2. She’s going to make gobs of money regardless of what she does with the team. NFL teams are profitable.
3. If you know about what she’s said about her succession than you know she cares about the city and keeping the teams here.

From everything I've heard from anyone close to Gayle and her team, she wants both franchises to succeed on the field and on the court. I believe that's the reality.

lolz! the latest estimate of the value of the saints was nearly $3,000,000,000. you'd need 3,000,000 saints fans to put up $1k apiece. or 300,000 fans willing/able to put up $10,000.
i say saints fans because what sensible investor would put that money up with no return?

I've been told...and you take this for as much as you think its worth. Both teams will compete while remaining "self-sustaining".
Essentially, she ain't dumping no more coin in than it self generates.
This is just not true.

What has she done to make you doubt?
Nothing at all, but the Broncos just sold for over $5B.
The Saints will sell for max dollar, her estate isn’t going to allow for less than optimum offer so you can forget another Louisiana group owning the Saints.
Once the valuation gets that high, the new group can do what they want with the business. Like it or not, NOLA isn’t a NFL market any longer. The city is in a death spiral, getting woker by the day with little to be optimistic about as they’re about to run Entergy out of town.
Dennis is a Bama alum with no real ties to NOLA; once the real bidders show up the NFL may get its London or Toronto team.

She very publicly stated that her trust ensures an owner will be found and keep the teams here for a long time. She very easily could have said nothing or given the teams to her awful step kids. I don’t really see what anyone is bitching about.
