Fellow TD H&G brethren…..
I am interested to know what pad/cushion you are using on your bed/cabana like this…or at least what type would you recommend? Thanks!

The easy and slightly sarcastic answer is whichever one you won’t mind replacing yearly.
By that I mean outdoor cushions are great but they don’t last very long, stain, pick up mildew, etc… so build into your equation ease and cost of routine replacement

They said to get cheap stuff off Wayfair and run thru it every two years. They had all gone the way of expensive stuff that didnt last in the La environ.

Unless it’s 316 or aluminum this is 1000% true.
Good outdoor teak furniture will last. A lot of the resorts use stand alone cushion pads with elastic trimmed terry cloth covers they can pull off and wash/replace. The sunbrella-type stuff will probably last 3 years, but the sun will eventually eat it up…

I got some wicker type allen and roth furniture from lowes a few years ago. The cushions and furniture have held up well, but I do keep them covered with some covers from F&J outdoors(amazon).
I feel like the covers help tremendously by keeping the sun/rain off the furniture.
