Neither one of them wanted to play for LSU.Holstein is a Bama groupie and soon as he got an offer he was wanting Saban to be his daddy

This is just straight up not true.. Holsteins family bleeds purple and gold and he would have came to LSU but we showed 0 Interest. We went all in on Howard.

Pretty sure he was on campus for a visit. Doubt he shows up if the staff was showing zero interest.

I don't believe this. If you are a true LSU fan you don't go to Bama. If my son was a good enough player to go anywhere he wanted to, it damn sure wouldn't be Bama.

Howard was the year before dude.It doesn’t matter what his family likes or his friends. As soon as he got the Bama offer he was telling everybody his dream came true and it was his dream offer and he instantly decommitted from Texas A&M and was all on board with Bama weeks later. He doesn’t want to compete against Howard I’m sure beings he swapped high school for that same reason. But there are kids every year whose entire family bleeds purple an gold and they ride off into the sunset to suck off Nick Saban

He changed schools in HS when he got stuck behind Howard, so you think he was going to come to LSU and possibly do it again?

Howard is not in the same class

and if they bleed purple and gold they would've gave the new staff who showed plenty of interest more of a chance

BS on both. LSU showed more interest than Bama yet once they offered he immediately committed to them You saying his family bleeds p&g is just flat bs. Yea they love LSU so much their son who could’ve went anywhere just happens to go to our arch rival. Just shut up about the family loving LSU because it’s just total bullshite

Expand the conversation to what currently looks like possibly 8 of the TOP 10 in Louisiana not signing with LSU.

Partially true. Def bleed purple and gold & would have loved to have Eli at LSU. But previous coaches were all in on Arch and Eli refused to be 2nd string. Don't blame him. aTm rushed him hard and he committed early IMO to not be perceived as being an Arch follower. Then Saban came on strong and who wouldn't be interested in that program if you are interested in the process of getting better, playing for a NC contender every year, and being prepared for the NFL. Oh yea, being surrounded by lots of guys who will be in the NFL soon. New coaches pursued him but he probably never felt like it was 100% Once Saban made up his mine, he never waived from Eli.
Hate that he will be a Bamer but he will thrive and will be an NFLer after 3-4 years in college. Been coached hard all his life, has the body and tools, and a great work ethic.
