I’m 32, single, and have pretty much no desire to get locked down at any point in the future. Make enough money to do whatever I want really (not OT rich but do well enough), and it’s awesome being able to do things on a whim without having to ask anyone if it’s ok Couldn’t be happier honestly.
If I decide Friday at noon I wanna hop in my boat and head south to go fishing, I’m on the road by 12:30 without having to worry about asking “permission” or leaving anyone behind. 9/10 times when I try to invite other people it’s always the same “my wife won’t let me” or other BS. I’d say only downside is when all your friends get married or have kids and no one does anything fun anymore, but it’s not too terrible if you have the right hobbies.
