Who could've possibly predicted that sanctions would just push Russia right into China's arms?

Western leaders had to have seen this coming so are they:

a) Just that fricking dumb
b) trying to ruin the world

Let’s see how long they can stay afloat, with only having China, India, and a handful of others to sell to. Europe has been their biggest buyer of oil. Going to be very tough to make up for 50% of your losses, with only a handful of countries.

Putin's goal is a confederacy to take us down as a world power. Proud to see us sticking our foot in the trap and jiggling it around.

China's population alone is double that of Europe.

Right. And they are a growing industrial nation with fewer environmental restrictions than the west.

I'm surprised China hasn't made a play for Siberia. I guess the nukes are a good deterrent?

China and India alone account for more than triple Europe's population. My goodness...

dude. Back in April I posted that basically this would happen.
Europe doesn't hold any power here. The future growth in the world will be in the Asian sphere. As India & China continue to modernize their demand will increase. The energy sanctions that were put in place were never ever meant to damage Russia because they can't. But they sure as hell can frick us and the rest of the West up and change how our economies function and through that they can create systemic change.
