I normally just let it rip. Afterwards, I usually wait until the people in the bathroom who heard it leave before I come out. It just seems a bit embarrassing for some reason for everyone to look and see who was sounding like a tuba and a bass guitar in the stall.
I explained this exact situation to my wife a week ago. She took a screen shot of this and sent it to me just now asking if I started this thread.
