Cincinnati 2023 class is ranked 4th in the nation. That's kind of crazy.

Fickell is going to kill it if he ever decides to move on to a blue blood

They're doing well but it's June.

They have 18 commits with an average ranking that would put them around 15. And that’s not including teams with higher averages that have like 4 or 5 commits. Still impressive for Cincinnati, but a ranking of 4 is a little misleading. Just looked it up in fact and their average ranking puts them around 45th in last years rankings.

This.
They won’t even be top 20 when it’s all said and done

probably more of a top 30 class if they keep that same average. still really strong for not being in a major conference

This happens every year when the teams who have the most commits jump to the top but fall away when other teams fill out there class. It's still a great class for Cincy

I'm going to play devil's advocate for a minute here.

Yesterday's announcement that Cincy, Houston and BYU will officially join the Big 12 in July of 2023 will help them with this class immensely. Fickell can now promise P5 football to these kids as freshmen.

I still don't think they'll be a Top 10 class, but it will likely get them in on a good amount of recruits they normally would not have a prayer of signing.

obviously they aren't staying at 4.

top 20 would be very impressive for Cincinnati.

If he is doing this at UC imagine what he would do at a top SEC school, Ohio State, USC, Texas etc.

Northwestern is ranked in the Top 5 while Alabama is 34. Point being, it’s not “crazy”…it’s June
