Went yesterday with no success, still too high. My time will be in Verrett for the next two weeks.

The Butte LaRose gauge readings in the BR paper (and on the Corps website) are really screwed up - the gauge is malfunctioning. The river is still on a slow fall.

Lots of places will be hot in about a week. A few are already hot.

I find ever since it got hit few years ago, it’s been off. I used to look for 15 ft at Krotz Springs and 13 at BLR. I think BLR is about 1.5’ low.

Morgan City gauge fell under 4.0 yesterday. That’s usually the sign to be there. Anyone happen to hear anything?

Gotta know exactly where to go In high water. Nobody will be sharing those secrets with the general public. To go fishing inside the interior basin right now would be a waste of time and you would be frustrated.
You will need to be looking for high banks on both sides of the canal.

Heading to friends camp on the west side of the Basin. Never fished out there before. My son is a bass guy, but I will mostly using a cork with crickets or worms. What can I expect for the upcoming weekend?
