We hunt near Evergreen. The rut is on now and through the first week of February. The nice bucks usually don't show up till mid January. My advice would be to get that easy doe or two early and take a break till January. We always have a lot of nocturnal movement during Thanksgiving and Christmas. Get off the food plots and hunt transitions of pine/hardwoods or creeks. The population is good however the average doe size is smaller than LA/MS. What city are you in?

Magnolia bridge is open, central thruway is still closed. Made it to BR from north sherwood with no problem.
