Finding good public golf in the area can be a moving target. Gotta make some compromises, usually on travel.

I checked out West Pines for the first time recently. Great track for the price.

I just got back from a long weekend playing lake Oconee courses.

Best golf destination trip I’ve ever been on. Way better than anything in Myrtle Beach or Florida panhandle.

7 courses. All bent grass. Beautiful scenery and excellent conditioned courses.

Following! Moved here 6 months ago. I get to play Horseshoe Bend on occasion with my FIL but looking for some other courses I can get to regularly.

Played Old Toccoa Farm when I passed thru the area last year.
Gorgeous land, and a really fun and challenging course.
Designed by the former lead shapers for Coore & Crenshaw, pretty sure.
