CL Girls soccer has a state runner up, and couple semi and couple quarter appearances.

my boy Jude doing work! but he's not coaching them anymore, so we'll see if they have the same success without him or not...

we had that female triple jump state champion the past couple of years, but other than that CLHS athletics has been absolutely atrocious

I know you said major sport, but CL's girl soccer team made it to the state championship a couple of years ago with a coach that didn't know soccer. This year they hired a new girl's coach that can win them a championship.

EDW football State Runner Up - Football

mmmmm..... could go into more detail over furth tri-parish area success or lack there of...but not going to with this group.

Tough luck for CL... they have been in a tough spot as yes, many like the leave their town for other schooling... but that is on the parents and also the parish for the facilities they have to work with at CL.

Def could be a better situation that would attract the local kids to stay "home"...

Kids were not leaving CL to go to Edw because of facilities. Almost all of CL’s facilities are more modernized than Edw. Now that may be the case in the future with the new weight room that the Bollingers donated which looks amazing. Kids leave CL because this place is a mess, and a place like Edw offers stability, you’re going to get quality coaching with little turnover in pretty much every sport.

I don’t blame a single kid or parent for sending their kid to another school right now. I see a few of our most promising freshmen from last year on the rosters of other teams and I say good for them. There’s no use wasting your talent here until the program takes the steps needed to stabilize and start rebuilding properly.

I would hope that Nub could pull a few strings and get his alma mater going in the right direction.

Worst big football school in Terrebonne/Lafourche. Their best teams can’t come within 2 touchdowns of a playoff win. Even when they have Maason Smith.

3rd Central Lafourche Head Football Coach Resigns Since November
I guess so, the AD and the Principal are tight and the AD is a fricking joke. The good ol' boy network in full force. Such a shame but blame the Principal and AD for that mess.

Man I have a lot to say but I'll say this. It's all in the AD, hes a friend of mine but he has to go and the good ole boy network needs to be dismantled.

CLHS only good sports programs are Soccer and Biwling (girls and boys), and we had a you lady get a full ride to TCU on a track scholarship. Other than that.... not much.
