One of the craziest things I’ve ever personally witnessed in college baseball. That was such a rush… such a rewarding rush

Such a disciplined approach by Pearson. Sits back and goes the other way for the final 2 runs. Great approach for anyone. For a freshman it’s unheard of really.

We broke Kennesaw's spirit in that inning. They threw their 2 best guys against us, but once they got tired, they had nothing else. I'd bet on Army to win the loser's bracket game, too.

The 8th inning, particularly the bottom of the 8th, has been berry, berry good for the Tigers over the years. It just seems to be LSU's MO - breakout late inning, finish them off in the 9th. I can't help but think back to 2008 Super Regional, Game 2 vs. Cal St. Irvine and the 8th inning. They had us by the short hairs, and the Tigers flipped the switch. Magic.

College baseball when It gets to tourney especially is never over. Its not a cliche'. Ive seen so many lower seed teams have leads yet have crazy comebacks on them especially at the old Box. these lower seeded teams with limited pitching start to feel pressure and things get crazy. Never can call a college baseball tourney game over especially if big underdog has the lead.
