Best Stop (Scott)
Don's Specialty Meats (Scott)
JD's Specialty Meats
Bourque's Superstore (Port Bare)
T-Boys

are all top of the line

Being from Ville Platte I always thought Tboys was the best but I stopped at best stop after work this week, and I have to say there boudin ranks right up there with Tboys. Goooood stuff

ETA: Too bad this is the same day as the UGA game... Otherwise I'd be there for sure

too bad, i liked them boys at Luke's. I cooked with them at the Smoked Meat Festival a few years ago.

With Boudin being so cheap, is it even possible/worthwhile to even try to make your own?

No its really not.. I made a whole bunch one time and unless you have a great recipe and the perfect spices its just not worth it.. Not if you live in LA anyways..
