Scared of lawsuits and constantly worrying about defunding. Unless it was my kids school...I wouldnt run in blindly either.
It’s not about being stupid. It’s about sitting outside of a building and not knowing if that next gunshot is for your child. I couldn’t live with myself if I sat outside and that next shot was for my daughter or son. Believe it or not, there are things worst than dying and living with that guilt is one. Is it tactically smart? No but it’s children that need you so you go.
