Moneyball

What is it about moneyball? I'll always leave it playing if it's on the tv. I don't even like baseball. Same with Jobs, something about Sorkin's dialogue is just naturally relaxing.

Really wish they would expand the universe and get into Forsing's origin, dude is a legit badass. I can see him as running black ops in the mid east, and being a former SEAL.

Do you really tho?

These universes/settings always get exponentially less cool the more you try to explain them.

Forsing is cool, scary, and interesting because you have no idea what he had to do or who he had to do it to in order to get to the position he’s in. Removing that mystery isn’t as fun as it may seem conceptually

Not trying to be a dick, and I’d certainly watch if it happened, but I don’t feel like we’re ever going to get out this terrible IP frickery cycle until we stop thinking about ideas as “how can we run this into the ground” instead of “how can we make this idea into something that’s new, interesting, and it’s own thing”

One of the more popular movies on this board. Someone posted a video asserting Emily Blunt is the real villain of the movie. Interesting. Wonder why they had all those bodies in the walls at that house in the first scene. Were they kidnap victims the cartel disposed of when they got a ransom?

I loved it, but for some reason, I still have never seen the 2nd one. Is it streaming anywhere?

from sicario wikia

Steve Forsing started his career as an explosive ordinance disposal technician for the U.S. Army. He then tried out and was selected for the Army's Delta Force in the late 1980s. After many missions and deployments to the Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and the Balkans, he rose to be the senior enlisted member of a Team during the Global War on Terror. His legendary status with Delta brought him to the attention of CIA, which recruited him upon his completion of his military career.

I also agree that Twister is another one I’ll watch if it’s on too.
I think what makes all these movies fall into the watch over and over category is none of them are overly complicated have a solid storyline and or funny enough. Plus each scene is like it’s own mini episode so you can walk out of the room know what’s going on come in for another fantastic scene and not have to wait 20-30 minutes for the next great seen they are throughout the movie.

Agree with 99% of the movies listed and would add Training Day and Margin Call
