Is someone using the term "Banger" a sign that they have terrible taste in music?

It seems to be. Pretty much every single time that I've heard someone use the term, they are referencing a really shitty song.
It's kind of similar to the crowd that likes to leave their music thumping when they get out of the car. It's pretty much a lock that the douchebag that does this will be listening to some shitty rap music.

It is equally as annoying a term as using “dropped” instead of “released” and flows from said user’s mouth like fluid flowing from a douchebag.

It’s just a slang term. It has more to do with that person being younger than having bad taste. Slang tends to be generational.

Maybe, perhaps, sometimes.

Good call. That's another one that's really annoying.

I think it has its place but nowhere near the frequency it gets used, much like the word "vibe" which has been ruined by younger generations along with all the dumbass catchphrases.

That song gets me “hype”. Not hyped. Even major media outlets use that ridiculousness.
