Is the water warm enough yet for the bacteria to grow? I thought the real threat occurred when the water got warm and slightly stagnant, around August.

It happens but it's really rare considering the amount of people in and out that water.

a beautiful mid-40's mother from the Lafayette area got the FED from wading in Gulf Shores several years ago. She lost her arm from the elbow down and it devastated her psychologically.
