For the life of me, I can't understand why anyone would prefer not to send their kids to EBRPSS. They are the pinnacle of academic excellence, and they strive to do the best for their community and children.

So her grand idea, is to move teachers whose students perform. . .to classrooms that are the worst performers, in the worst performing schools?

And to do this yearly?

I can save her the trouble of a long term study. This ends with all the good teachers going private, charter, or out of the district.

You are welcome, Ms Banks.

I have to laugh, because most of the people I know who are who are mad at EBRPSS are the same people that tried to torpedo St. George. All the gifted and talented and magnet parents and teachers just got hit with a bit of reality in the face. They sided with the mayor and their cronies like good liberals and attacked St. George as racists. Now they are racists. (Even the ones who are minorities are racist now too)

I do know her personally. I've known her for over 10 years. Truth = she is that dumb. Just is.

The drawback is I do not invest a lot into forming relationships. I do not participate in extra-curricular activities or volunteer for off-campus events. Gone are the days when I purchased embroidered or printed t-shirts and sweatshirts. In all honesty, I have become detached from my varied school surroundings. I remember a time when I was intentional and “knew by name” my students, parents, and co-workers, none of those traits currently exist.

My mama would say, “There are ONLY two days that matter when a job get tough. She asked, “Do you know what they are?” I would guess, “Saturday and Sunday”! She would respond, “No. The only two days that matter on a job are PAYDAY and OFFDAY!”

This mindset, is the exact reason why you have such a large portion of "culture" that fall in the same loop of failure.

As her "mama" instilled into her, only thing that matters is that paycheck. If you don't take pride in your work, and practice some personal responsibility, then this will rub off on your kids/students and they too, won't give a shite.

It's frightening that Chauna is in a position of "leadership" in the Baton Rouge city government. That loser mentality is why BR is such a shithole.

I see her post being shared in anger on FB by the few white people I know who have kids in the magnet and gifted programs in EBRPSS. Also sharing it is my white, progressive friends who teach in this white guilt bubble trying to change the world.

So overall... this looks like something white people got mad about.

Wooo boy. Y'all done fricked up now.

Teresa La'Rae
I’m convinced that every few months she says something ridiculous to stay relevant or something

Teresa La'Rae I don't plan it, but it does appear that people are overly engaged in my viewpoints. I just don't have the time to be receptacle. MY page is dedicated to me sharing my thoughts on relevant topics, not necessary for a response. But, I understand sometimes people can't help themselves and that's cool!
